About
A small Danish studio building Shopify apps.
Zealand Labs makes apps for merchants who run the shop themselves — the ones who do the ordering, check the numbers on a Sunday evening, and keep the rest in a spreadsheet. We build the app we would want in that situation: one screen with a straight answer.
How we build
Two apps, one set of principles. They are the reason the numbers hold up when a merchant checks them against their own books.
One question per app
An app that tries to be a whole business system ends up unused. Ours open on the answer — a report, a list — and the settings stay out of the way until you need them.
The boring parts done right
Cancelled orders excluded, refunds deducted, the day boundary in your store's own timezone, amounts formatted in your currency and locale. This is where most reports quietly go wrong.
The fewest permissions that work
Our apps read; they do not write to your store. We ask only for the data an app actually uses, and we store aggregated numbers — no customer data.
Ten languages, your admin's
English, Danish, German, Swedish, Norwegian, French, Spanish, Italian, Dutch and Portuguese — the app follows your Shopify admin language automatically.
Priced for the shop that runs itself
Every app has a free plan that is genuinely usable, and a Pro plan between $10 and $20 a month with a 14-day trial. No onboarding call, no annual contract.
Who we build for
Merchants with roughly 100–2,000 SKUs. At that size the tools built for inventory managers cost more per month than the problem does, and the free ones only send an alert once the damage is done. That shop deserves the same quality of numbers — at a price it does not have to think about.
It also means we say no to things: no forecasting you cannot explain to your own bookkeeper, no writing to your product data, no features that exist to fill out a comparison table.
